If a connection between two flights is missed due to a delay of at least 4 hours solely at the fault of the first airline, or if cancellation occurs on the part of the airline or an overbooking of a confirmed scheduled flight and no alternative connection is available within at least 4 hours, the insurer will pay the additional costs (subsistence, hotel, rebooking costs, cost of alternative transport, phone charges) for the continuation of the journey following the services of the airline. Also insured is the delayed delivery of the luggage of at least 6 hours by operators of a means of public transport. The insurer shall pay the costs for absolutely necessary purchases.
